Subsidies for electric vehicles

With a total budget of 50 million euros for 2022, the second cycle of the program “I move Electrically” which promotes electromobility, will begin in April, as announced by the Ministry of Environment and Energy.

The new program includes increased subsidies for the purchase of electric cars and motorcycles while social criteria are established for people with disabilities, families with three children, but also for young people up to 29 years old! Special care will be taken for businesses operating on islands.

The second cycle of “I move electrically” will have retroactive effect from 1.12.2021 and citizens will be able to submit their applications until 31.12.2023.
